Emotional Intelligence and Overall Performance of Divyang Students: A Review

Emotions are what make a person different from animals. In today's time, emotional intelligence is as important as normal or any other type of intelligence. At present emotional intelligence plays a vital role in every person’s life in around the world. Emotional intelligence is responsible for success at huge level as well as general intelligence. The need for emotional intelligence for divyang children increases even more because they have to struggle more than other children to live a normal life. divyang child is completely fine mentally, but what work does his body do or produce for us? This obstacle creates many types of problems for them, and this affects their emotional intelligence. The word divyang refers here as some kind of abnormality or disability which is affects student performance. The main purpose of the study is to give an insight into the academic and co-curricular challenges and activities of Divyang Students to encounter. Present study critically reviews the concept of empirical and actual evidence in support of influence of emotional intelligence on overall performance of divyang students.
