Teachers’ Perspective on the Barriers to Online Teaching and Learning during Covid-19 Pandemic

Research is the most important part of the education investigation system. It provides valuable information that can improve teacher trainees' learning and teaching ability. In education, every educator needs to be informed about present-day research to make themselves up to date. Research provides educators with quality learning and teaching ability. Research also helps students with different topics and ideas in more detail. To find the research awareness and basic knowledge about the same researcher tried to find the research awareness in teacher trainees with various aspects in education colleges of Gandhinagar city. Before fifteen days the trainees were informed by the researcher for reading and focusing on research materials. They were also informed about the date and timing of the research test. The test consisted of 50 marks of MCQ type. For this purpose, the researcher selected 100 teachers’ trainees from different institutions. The result of the study revealed research education and teacher education are greatly responsible for improving the knowledge of prospective teachers. The major aspect of this study was not only research on the teacher trainees but also stirring awareness of the importance of education research. In this research, the sample of teacher trainees was selected voluntarily. The result of the study shows that the female teacher trainees were more aware of the education of research.
