Development of Children of Prenatal Care and Education Center

The study aimed to investigate the development of the Tapovan child. Here, the Tapovan child refers to a child who received education from the mother’s womb at the Tapovan Center (a prenatal care and education center) run by the Children’s Research University, Gandhinagar. The Tapovan Center is an important part of the Children’s Research University's action plan for the holistic development of the child. A child born after participating in this action plan is called a Tapovan child. The main objective of the study was to examine the development of such children. The study was conducted as an ex-post-facto research design. To investigate the development of the child, two groups were formed: one consisting of Tapovan children and the other of children who did not participate in the program (referred to as normal children). A comparison was made between the development of Tapovan children and normal children to determine the effectiveness of the program. It was found that children who received education at the Tapovan Center (a prenatal care and education center) showed greater development in various areas, including overall development, language development, socio-emotional development, fine and gross motor development, and cognitive development. This proves that the program was effective.
