Corporate now do not look at just intelligence quotient but also at the spiritual and emotional quotient then why does the higher education teaching brood over only intelligence quotient? There has been an increasing trend among companies to hire business executives from a variety of streams, especially from the broad stream of humanities and social sciences, and not just the stream of management and business studies. This reflects the increasing awareness about the role of multiple perspectives on thefunctioning of businesses. In such a scenario, individuals should be assessed in terms of Multiple Intelligence (MI) characteristics, rather than measuring them unidimensionally in terms of Intelligence Quotient (IQ). This concept needs to be imbibed in today s professional education the students of whom are directly absorbed by corporate. As afaculty how to identify the trait of various smarts in a student becomes very crucial not only to include it in classroom teaching but also to make the student aware of his traits so that he can conceptualize his strengths. This paper attempts to focus on the pedagogy and inclusion on MI in teaching learning methods to envelope a student with sensitivity towards own dexterity and not just intelligence. The purpose of this paper is three-fold. First, it is to explore the theory and the developer of multiple intelligences. Second, to become acquainted with the effects this theory has had on teaching practices. The third purpose is to express researchers' own points of agreement and disagreement with this theory.
